A brand new community owned and run lodge has just opened in Maputaland along the north-eastern coastline of KwaZulu-Natal, just south of the border with Mozambique.

Guests can also take a self-drive or shuttle trip to magnificent Bhanga Neck and Black Rock, explore the pristine Kosi Forest Reserve by 4X4 or simply relax on the porch of their secluded Tembe safari tent, shaded beneath the spreading umdoni (waterberry) trees.
