The Annecy International Animation Film Festival, with the support of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the Haute-Savoie Department, the DRAC Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and the CNC, is offering a unique residency for the graphic development of animation feature films. This residency focuses on crucial stages like defining the graphic identity and storyboard of the film. It provides directors with the opportunity to develop the visual journey of their film, including precutting, cutting, graphic research, storyboard, and animatics.
Positioned between the end of writing and the start of production, this residency allows for dedicated time for creation, reflection, and graphic evolution. It also offers networking, visibility, and ongoing project support through the Annecy Festival and its market, the Mifa.
